MVR (Mechanical Vapor Recompression) sludge drying recompresses the secondary vapor generated in drying, raising its pressure and temperature for reuse as the drying heat source — "steam producing steam" — so only a small amount of electricity drives the compressor.
With integrated vapor recompression and paddle drying, sludge is dried in a sealed environment without dust emission; outlet moisture drops from 80% to below 40%, slashing sludge volume and disposal cost.
Applies to volume-reduction and harmless disposal of municipal, chemical and pharmaceutical sludge, extendable to drying of high-moisture industrial residues.
