Heat pump drying is based on the reverse Carnot cycle: the refrigerant cycle upgrades low-grade heat from ambient or industrial waste sources into high-grade thermal energy for drying. The system consists of the heat-pump unit, heat exchangers, a closed drying-air loop and intelligent temperature/humidity control — 1 kWh of electricity moves more than 3 kWh of heat, with a COP far higher than direct electric heating.
Unlike boiler-fired drying, heat-pump drying burns no fossil fuel and produces no flue gas. The drying-chamber temperature and humidity are closed-loop controlled, ideal for low-temperature drying of heat-sensitive materials while markedly cutting energy use.
The technology applies to fermentation & pharmaceutical, agricultural processing, chemical, sludge and food drying — the common core of the four product series: agricultural drying, industrial exhaust zero emission, fruit & vegetable pre-cooling and steam heat pumps.
